mine hit harder hahah I got 2 SSD's in a fiberglass box. That JBL amp didnt work, luckily my friend is sponsered by them and they over hauled it for free. Its now pushing out a little over 2500 @1 ohm

 

nope... wanna get it metered... a shop here said they have a TL but its at a diff location so i will get it metered here in a few weeks ... they are always bs'in everytime i ask them about the meter... startin to think they dont have one

2.) JBL didnt work?... WTF ... you sure you hooked it up right? I played it a couple weeks before i shipped it... after your first email... worked like a champ
3.) are you saying that same jbl amp is now pushed 2500 rms?
4.) what numbers are you hittin?

 

I dunno why it didnt work man. Yes it was hooked up properly one of my best friends is an installer and we did all the work together. The box is completely fiberglass (pics saturday). It is the same amp.. It had 3 blown fuses.. We checked it with the volt meter and we hooked it up in another car and it didnt work. Since he has connections with JBL the amp has been COMPLETELY overhauled. I'll get some numbers up as soon as we can run some tests. I never thought a pair of SSD's would pound this hard thats for damn sure... What do you have yours running at? 1 or 2 ohms?

 

i knew you wouldnt be disappointed with those subs.... and yeah i have mine hooked up at 1 ohms.... i am more interested in what they did to get it to 2500 watts.... thats crazy. Is the box under the seat or is it something more custom looking?

This is one of the main reasons i dislike the rear of my 2003 screw. I can't fit 12's under my back seat. I'm guessing you raised your back seat however?

 

under the seat for now in the fiberglass enclosure, its still pretty custom though . As for how they got that much power cranking out of it, your guess is as good as mine. What i think they did is just used the shell and ditched everything else. It is badass man, no lie it slams so hard.. Setup could be changing soon though, might be getting 2 more, but we will see

Just let me know, im in Fort Worth once every 2 weeks about on campus. If everything goes through there will be no more back seat and a huge fiberglass wall in the back. Ha if 2 slams this hard I cant wait until i hear 6 lol. If everything goes through than I'll probably be switching to a higher end FI model.
