I have one in my '07 scab. I got mine for $200 on ebay, I wouldn't pay full price for it. If you're going to buy it for full price, you may want to look into getting a custom box and throwing a nice sub with a powerful amp in there.

I've had a 400 watt system with 2 10" subs in my old car, and then a 600 watt system with a 15" sub after that. I think the sound is good for only being 200 watts. Since the sub is located inside the cab, it sounds a lot louder than one that was located in the trunk of a car. I listen to metal, rap, and reggae mostly and the sub sounds good all those genres. It can do the punchy kicks in rock music hit the sub bass of rap and reggae, however, there are those REALLY low notes that I can tell its not hitting, but I didn't expect it to.

I still have the factory head unit so I just patched into the speaker wires behind the dash and connected them to an RCA audio cable, so you don't need a remote lead or have to mess with a line output converter.

I've turned up the system and listened outside my truck and some sound does escape through the front, so it might shake the person in front of you if you're at a light, but you definately won't be waking up the neighbors.

It looks nice in my truck. It just fits right under the seat and is gray so it looks stock.

So in summary: For being a 225 watt 12" sub, it sounds good and complements the music well. It's definately not the LOUDEST out there, but I think most people looking at this sub are going to use it more for complementing their music, rather than trying to be heard from 3 blocks away, and it does that excellently.

Hope this helps!
