Specs for factory speakers

Specs for factory speakers

can someone point me to a url where i can find the specs of what is installed in my truck from the factory? it is a 2003 f-150 xlt extended cab with a 6-cd changer.

If you want the size of your factory speakers, just go to www.crutchfield.com and plug in your vehicle info - it will show you what will fit and you'll know.

There really isnt anything your going to find about them.

5x7
4 ohm
Say 25 Watts on the back
Paper cone and 'wizzer' tweeter
Crappy...

Thats about it

actually they don't sound to bad once you eq and cross them over right, they leave alot to be desired tho

Good information, thanks for the feedback.

I want to upgrade what I have in terms of speakers and maybe an amp. I'm not concerned with the deck right now, since I listen to Sirius 24x7.

Looking for some suggestions. I know nothing about car audio so all information will be appreciated.

the best bang for your buck upgrade is going to be a subwoofer... hands down.

I'd only consider upgrading those efter adding a subwoofer
