I Great Stuffed the back wall and C pillar's. Put 2 layers of Edead on the floor and back wall. The only thing i have left is to finish the box and Edead the Roof and Doors, also make 5x7 6.5 adapter plates. Can anyone direct me on how they took their headliner off? If i do the headliner, I am only planning on doing 1 layer.. I only have 1 1/2 rolls of edead left and want to do 2 on all the doors. Also, where is a good place to mount my component amp in the dash? Thanks Guys. Big thanks to Patrick too, Thanks for all your help man!

headliner= remove overhead consoles and Rails(if equipped), sun visors, and A/B/C pillar trim panels, and rear coat hooks, and the headliner just falls down. and your comp amp can go in the empty space between the airbag and glove box ( behind the huge panel above the glove box). Thats where I plan on putting mine later.

Looks good man, It's going to sound great man! About the component amp, your better off mounting it behind your seats... I'd say crossovers are about the only thing you can fit behind the dash by the air bag.

IIRC there should be plenty of room to fit that amp in those trucks.

I think so too. Pat and I contemplated on where to mount the amps for a while actually. I know it would be a much cleaner stealth look to mount them both behind the seat. What we decided to do was mount my JBL under my passengers seat and built and amp rack and secured it over the deadener and it looks extremly clean IMO. I am just going to munt the comp amp and the crossovers in the dash inless there is some sort of dilema. I will take more pictures today. I will hopefully have the box done today, although I dont have a jig saw, but i think i can manage without it. I know i will need it for the 5x7 6.5 adapters though. I also am going to order a seat lift, in the beginning the plan was to fabricate my own but we ran out of time.. We knew it would be a big undertaking, but there were certain parts that took longer than we expected. JMT, can you walk me through as to how you took off the overhead rails? I'll also get some pictures up of how we wired and mounted everything. Since i do not have the center console shifter we were able to mount my 0/1 to 4 splitter right about the hump in the center and it is covered by the plastic piece that comes off. BestNTX, ill be coming through Fort Worth on my way home from Possum on Wednesday, I can meet you sometime mid afternoon if youre around.

i figured you would start a thread on this, but didnt see it until now. Man you sure did get a hell of a deal on my labor. Lol even if i lived next door, i worked for about 2.25 an hour

but anyways, sounds like the headliner shouldnt be too bad to do, and if you IM me i can send you the PDF files for the door, and i might be able to find one for the overhead rails.

Easy
step1- pull straight down on both front and rear overhead consoles to release.
step2- using a small star bit ( size escapes me at the moment), unscrew the 8 bolts securing the rails to the roof.

that easy

Got the CMX's today. Now I have to fab a mounter for them. Pictures later... Also, does someone have pictures of their mounting plate? And how did you do it? You just cut out a 5x7 piece and then trace around the comp and cut out the hole in the middle correst?
