ok i need some help figuring out box size....

i know none of you like audiobahn however i have two 12's and my 2400 watt amp left over from my audi....i would like to build a box to fit these in my 05 KR Supercrew....my first q is what size LMI seat lift would i need to get so i can fit a box to house these 12's?? and also how do you calculate box volume since the box isn't rectangular etc....its odd shaped? money is kinda tight so i figured it will be cheaper for me to build my own than to buy a box and new subs and a new amp etc....also where do you get oem color match (tan) carpet for the box? thanks

1) You need to know how deep the subs are. Even with the seat lift, the most you are going to be able to use is 7" or less.

2) The LMI kit is only available in one size. It is a 2 1/2" lift.

3) I use a wedge shaped box so calculating is pretty easy. You basically use the average of the wedge. 3" back and 7" front so use 5". Multiply height x width x length divided by 1728(i think).

4) When you find oem tan, let me know.

Hope that helps.
