I have two JL 12w3v2's with 300w rms going to each one. A buddy wants to do something different and wants to show me up. I do not think it should be to hard. He just bought 4 JL 8w3v3's with a 1000w rms. How will this compare? Would he be better with Kicker L7's or should he look at two 10's or 12's with more power? On a side note I was told that I should try to get a little more room under the box because it would allow the sub more room to move air. Does this sound accurate? (I have about 1.75" under the box to the floor.) Thanks.
