Reducing sub box cubic footage

I have a sub box that houses one 10" sub, but the box is approximately .25 cu. ft. bigger than what the sub reccommends. I was wondering what are the easiest and most effective way of reducing the volume, without have to remove the carpet off of the box and cut off part of the end. Thanks.

All you have to do is fill some space with a wood block or blocks and glue to hell out of it, screws also if you can, from the bottom, but before you do that, may I ask what 10" sub is needing only .25 SF after driver displacment??

the wonderfull thing about sealed boxes is you can be almost 100% off without hurting things. I wouldn't worry if its a little bit off
