Progress on my Custom Box. **PICS**

tell me what you guys think. gonna fabricate a bracket to lock it down to the seat and carpet it to match. Port will fire towards the front of the cab between the two front seats. pretty much done but I want to get the bracket finished before I seal it up.

harsh reality of the 40/60 seats. I wish I had a pair of buckets back there instead. Only other option is to build a under seat box and a seat lift for the deeper speakers.

I think it has the potential to look good if you take your time. You may loose some energy since the seat is going to absorb some of the speakers kick power. In other words, it's not going to be as loud or as sharp as possible.

yeah. I am taking my time. gonna be a long process to get it exactly how I want it. I am working on fabricating a bracket to lock the box down. then I can close the box up. probably gonna round the corners maybe do some other stuff to give it a more "polished" look. As far as losing sound into the seat I am not expecting to much luckily it's ported which will help increase the volume over a typical sealed box. Unfortunately my subs are dual 2ohm voice coils so right now I have to run the single 10 at 4ohms 500watts rms. If Its not loud enough I will have the sub rebuilt to handle a 2ohm load pushing 1000rms. Gonna take it one step at a time for now though.

Update:

I installed my single din alpine deck from my mustang ran the remote/RCA's to the amp location. just have to run the power wire still.
