question about seat lift

hi guys. I have been reading on here for a while now and had a couple of questions. I plan on doing the 2.5" seat lift from LMI so I can get some 12's under the seat. My question was this. I know that the back part of the seat will not come up at all . but I have a new baby and the carseat needs the two metal hooks down in between the two parts of the seat. now if these metal hooks do not come up with the seat i dont think i will be able to reach them. Maybe if any of you have done the lift do you know if the hooks come up or if they will stay down in there. Thanks
tim

The metal hooks do not come up but, you can still reach them with no problems. I have a 2 year old myself and I have him strapped in to the middle seat with the lower anchors. He actually likes the seat lift because he sits up higher and can see out the windows easier.

No more difficult at all. Would not matter either way. Although if you do it all at the same time, then you have all the seats out at once and its easier to run wires.

Never thought of it, and others may be wondering...

Do the seat belts move up too? Are they attached to the bottom seat frame, or the floor?

Still debating on the lift idea...

The seat belts move up but, the lower anchors do not.

Another thing to consider if you have a lot of back seat passengers, the seat moves up and forward (at least mine did). Leg room in the back seat of mine is almost non existant, especially with the front seats slid back. I am actually thinking about removing mine if I can figure what the deal is with my sub box not sitting down properly.

In my supercrew, leg room was not effected much. I can still sit back there with my front seats all the way back and have plenty of room. Headroom is a bigger problem. If I sit up straight, my head hits the headliner. That is the reason I took my first one off but, decided I only have people back there once in a great while and they can slouch a bit if need be.
