Germanium Crossover Settings

Ok guys. All of you with the Germs, lets swap out some jumper settings. I just want to see what everyone has their jumpers set to. I know I am going to have to try some different ones already. I fired it up this morning and it was a bit bright sounding. Some of you guys who are loving the sound, where do you have yours jumpers set.

Mine also pulled the sound back toward the drivers side of the windshield. That was one thing I loved about the Chameleons is you could not really "find" the speakers. With the tweeter high up in the door, (Chameleons were mounted like coaxials), you can tell where the speakers are.

The brightness your hearing isnt anything to be concerned with...give em a bit of break in time and they will mellow down a bit.

Now that is really good news. I fired them up and thought for a second, "oh no".

They are really bad on the IPOD. Not so much on CD's but, still a bit. Mellowed just a bit, they should be perfect. The midbass is good. No, real good. It really helps bring the bass more to the front. Since I do not drive but like 30 minutes a day, I may have to start my truck and let them play for 4 or 5 hours and try to speed up the process. What's a little bit of gas to achieve better sound

I get that quite often with...these things are a bit more harsh than I expected...not to worry, theyl dazzle you with smoothness soon enough and while maintaining detail throughout.

I need to look when I get to the house, but I think I am setup like this....
1 - A
2 - A
3 - A
4 - B
5 - 3

Again, this might be wrong because I need to look at the paper that I wrote this on at the house and I am at work.

This is day four. I did about 150 miles of road time today and these things are awesome!!!

This should be All Default (Factory) setting and is what mind are still set at...

I have not played with them yet, going to get a few more breakin hrs on them first and yes those tweets will mellow out some as they breakin , also the mids will kick out more bass after they loosen up some... at lease mind did.. took 7 or 8 hrs to loosen up
