I am looking for suggestions for a shallow 12" sub for my MTX Thunderform. I received the Thunderform today ($100 shipped from eBay!!). I want to remove the sub the enclosure came with and replace it with something a little nicer.

I took out the 4500 and measured, looks like I have 5 3/8" to work with. Might be able to squeeze a little more out of it with a spacer.

I am currently looking at the 12" Dayton Reference HF. Aside from that I haven't really seen much that has impressed me.

Power is not really an issue as I still have the amps from some past installs laying around. I am also not too sure how much power the box itself would be capable of handling.

Any thoughts or comments would be much appreciated.
