I need speakers

I need help on what size of speakers to put in the doors of my 98 F150 Supercab. I just put in a Pioneer cd player and would like to get rid of the factory speakers. Would 6x9 be alright for the the rear speakers? Any information would help out. Thanks.

5x7/6x8 is the factory size.
If you want to put 6x9's in the rear, you will have to do some cutting. Im not sure if it would work to well because of the shape of the door where the speaker mounts. Your best bet would just be to stick with the stock size front and rear.

Spend all the money you have for speakers on the FRONTS this will give you much more bang for the buck. Unless you have a driver and sit in the back

I'm going to sound retarded for asking this but I have to know before I buy something that will not fit. Are the 5x7's for the doors or can I still use 6x8's?

Crutchfield will give you a great list of 6X8's that will fit your truck. I have Pioneer3-ways---relative inexpensive but sound pretty good---there are many others that will fit your price range from cheap to somewhat costly.
