98 F150 Ext. Cab Pioneer 4800

I have a Pioneer unit without an amp working with the factory speakers. Would it make much of a difference if I upgraded the speakers? If so, which ones?

Hell yeah. The stockers are just paper garbage. Go listen to whatever brand you like. I like Infinity and Polk for inexpensive speakers.

I agree with Buzzz. I am in the same situation. I am having a hard time deciding on what size of speaker to put in the doors. I already have a set of 6x9's for the rear. I like the 3 way speakers myself. They give you a great sound, and you can get them at a good price. I take it you are a pioneer fan as myself. Go to their web site and check out what they have in stock. Remember it's what you like and can afford. Good luck to you.

Thanks, I think I'll go with two pair of the Infinity 6812cf.
