Supercrew subwoofers, I need help????????
I have a 2001 supercrew i am trying to find a subwoofer enclosure or a placement spot for either a 10 or 12 inch sub. If anyone can help please email me usmcbernat@gmail.com. If you have something in yours please send a picture so i can look at it. Also with a 6 inch lift what type of rims and tires should i run.

well as for a sub enclosure, screws, for lack of a better term, suck for any real type of space for subwoofers. first thing is first, JL audio is my personal favorite. JL makes a product caled a stealth box that comes with 1 w3 10" subwoofer. it fits under the back seat or in the console. the w3 is a very nice quality speaker with full range response. i personally have 3 w1 tens behind my back seat in a custom built box. its got a lot more bass output then i think you might be looking for, nevertheless, check it out https://www.f150online.com/galleries....cfm?num=12352
Go to ebay. There are at least a half dozen outfits there selling single and dual sub enclosures for SCrews. Most fit neatly under the rear seat. Dual enclosures typically require you to relocate the jack, though.
Just click on my gallery (little camera icon on the top right). I've got one of the custom dual enclosures you'll find on ebay for under $100. Also try Crutchfield.com The selection is kind of limited, but they have some nice enclosures.

for now i only have 1 JL 500.1 runnin the treo sexiness but its because i plan on building a new box and upgrading to three w3v3 subs with a 1000.1 runnin them.
i built it with an installer from a local audio shop where i work. sort of a pain in the *** but it came out nice. it sounds pretty good but the w1s dont have enough low end response for me so im upgrading. the box fits like a glove and the w1 wqas a good choice becaus eof its shallow mounting depth (4.34 inches) all in all, i couldnt be happier
hmm...interesting..how much airspace does each sub have in that box, is it a common enclosure or chambered per sub... and how bad is the low end response on the w1s b/c thats what i was about to go purchase, either a single 12w1 or dual 10w1s to go under my seat...it seemed a perfect choice for the power ive got and the minimum amount of airspace i have to work with under there... like 1 cubic foot, maybe 1.1 at most... but now im having second thoughts based on your dislike of the sub...

oh no no no no!! wrong impresion for sure. the w1 is a fantastic speaker. there is nothing wrong with it. it is loud, tight, clean.. just like JL is supposed to be. my box has about 3.7 cubic feet total... and it shares a common space. it has a bit of fiberglass on the bottom right hand corner because there is a metal hump on the floor we had to get over.
i predominantly listen to rap and 98% of the time i couldnt be happier... but there are a couple of those spl test like songs that the lows are insane. the sub picks them up no problem but the volume is decreased.. i mean, its a ten inch speaker, you cant expect too much low low low end response unless its a w6 or w7. if you have minimal space and minimal power, the w1 is a great buy. what kind of music do you listen to? if rap is not at the top then the dual tens would be more than enough.. if rap and low end spl response is important.. get the 12, they have a greater range of response simply because they are bigger.
