upgrade help for 05 supercrew

I have the stock basic system with the 6 disc, I would like to keep the stock head unit but would like to get some better sound with some deep base but nothing crazy. Could I spend $500.00 turn my basic system into a premium system? I often fold up my back seat so I do not want any amp or speakers under my back seat. Any sugestions on what I could do?

you won't get any deep bass w/o subs, however a good set of seperates in the doors and an amp to power them will get you a much fuller sound than stock. You could do that with $500 for not too much trouble.
Crutchfield: MB Quart 6 1/2 seperates are $250, Kicker amp 110w x 2 $250
(as an example) Good luck!

I agree, but it gives an easy reference point. I don't trust too many online stores. Have you used onlinecarstereo?

yea several times. I haven't had to return anything yet so I can't vouch for their customer service. But so far so good.
