Exclamation 2006 Ford F-150 Ext Cab stereo plans!?

Hey,

I have TWO important questions, but heres a little background first....

I JUST bought my 2006 F-150 extended cab truck and I miss my stereo. I had 2 12" Audiobahn aw121T subs in a sealed box with a 1600W Audiobahn monoblock amp and a 1.5 Farad digital cap in my 2005 Ranger ext cab (no back seats). I kept everything out of my Ranger when I traded it in on the f-150.

First, I need to find a dual 12" sub box that will accomidate my 2 12's, they have a mounting depth of 5 5/8 inches. Does anyone know where I can get a box that will fit those bad boys in it?

Second, I would like to know where you guys mount the amp, I would assume behind the seat.....but how does the seat come apart, etc...?

ANY help would be greatly appreciated, PICS would be AWESOME of your setups.

THANKS!!!

Roger

The mounting depth is ok but how much air space do the subs need each?
I think most under seat boxs are .78 Sq feet per sub.If you search the forums for under seat or sub box you are bound to get a ton of posts on where to get the box. Most pre fab boxs are for 10" subs so you may have to cut the hole larger yourself or pay a little extra to have the seller do it.

As for getting the seat back out just search for seat back remove or so and I know a couple people posted pics and a how to.

Yah, i figured out the back seat thing, the subs only need .78 cubic feet of air, so any of those boxes would be fine.... but I have looked for 12 boxes with no luck......

I just did some searching and couldnt find anything really as far as a dual 12 box.

There are a few sites that might, but I cant think of them at all...Im having a brain fart. One was supercrewsound.com but they didnt have one...
If I think of them Ill let you know.
