Anyone else have any ideas on how to run the output wires?

Thanks again
This way works fine, I did it in several of my first few vehicles. However, the only other way is to run speaker wires to each speaker. It's not real hard, just time consuming. Keep your speaker wires away from the power wires. Good luck!

If you have lower amounts of power going to your speakers, you can probably get away with tapping into the factory wires behind the HU.

How much power are you running?

For the door speakers it is a 600watt amp. About 50watts rms. So I think I would be running anywhere up to 50watts max to each speaker.

Hmm, with 50 watts each I think I would upgrade to 16 gauge all around, and skip tapping into the factory wires...just run all new.

Alright. So when I am running the new wires to the speakers on the drivers side doors, how do I go about avoiding the power wire that will be in that doorsill?

don't worry about the power wire. the whole thing with noise and a power wire is some what of a myth and usuallly has to do more with the rca's since they are a low voltage signal.
