Sub Question

I'm trying to upgrade my sound a little in my 2006 F150 KR. I wanna keep it as close to factory as I can but wanna add a little more bass to the sound. I was thinking of just pulling out the factory sub and replacing it with another. Does anyone know what size the sub is and the steps to take it out and replace it? And is there anyway to adjust the amp that goes to the sub? I've already replaced the door speakers with DB sound speakers. Those sound AWESOME running on the factory system.

I have no experience with the factory sub, but im 99.9 percent sure it is an 8 incher, just to give you a little something to go by so you can look around a little.

I think it has been discussed a few times, have you tried a search?
Someone who knows what they are talking about should chime in though
