Eclipse SW6000

Im looking to get a few Eclipse 10" SW6000 subs but I can't find the top mount specs anywhere. I have a 5.5" box from musicmoose they'd have to fit in. Anyone know the top mount depth? Also, more importantly I guess, are these worth buying if they fit?

Ive looked a little and cant find a depth anywhere. Best thing to do would be to email or call Eclipse, or else an Eclipse dealer who could tell you.

As far as worth buying-if you get it from a dealer, it probably wont be worth the price, but I see on Ebay they go new for right around 75 bucks, which probably isnt to bad.
Im ASSUMING these are an updated version of the SW6100 series. If so, they arent to bad of subs. Your not going to impress many or any people loudness wise, but as far as SQ they werent bad and sounded pretty good. If you send about 250% of their rated power to them then they will wake up SPL wise
^Take that with a grain of salt though...I speak with experience from what Im assuming is the older version of this---a 12 besides.

I've had very good luck with eclipse subs, the 6000 are a kevlar composite cone and have a shallow mounting depth, even the aluminum 7000's are pretty shallow compared to most everything out there right now. I think they are a great sub for the money. Bartak1 you must have heard a dud, I built a car with 1 eclipse aluminum 12 in a half a cube sealed that hit 147's on a regular basis with an alpine 1507 amp behind it 5 years ago!

Well, this one Im talking out was about as far away as you could get from and old Eclipse Alum. I guess it (the 6100 series) must not be as closley related to the 6000 series as I though it was.
I absolutley LOVE the Eclipse Alums though. Im actually somewhat suprised Im not running a pair of the older ones right now. Very nice subs if you ask me...

Ahhh yes, the G5 Nice subs as well. I think I might end up installing a pair of those in my buddies Silverado, he seems to like them quite well also.
