Question Rockford Subs

hey guys im kinda new to audio systems. I have a 1997 expedition. i wasnt planning on doing components and just putting in...

Pioneer TS-A6881R- Front and Rear

Either P210D4 or P310D4 Rockford Fosgate subs.

i would like to know how much of a difference there will be between the two subs. i dont want to overpower the pioneer speakers with too much bass. but i want it if i ever want a lot of bass.

how do you guys think the pioneer's and the rockford subs would sound together

Id just go for the P3. You know its gotta be better than the P2, and I dont think your going to have a problem with overpowering bass with a P3 10...

I cannot speak for the P3's but I have had 2 P2 10"s. With a Fosgate 3001 Amp running them, they hit VERY hard. The P3's are dual voice and can take more power. One point to keep in mind. The box makes the subs. If you under size the box, any sub will sound like crap. The worst thing you can do is make the box too small. Look at all the specs.

In my F250 I couldn't use my P2's that I had in my F150...so I had to buy some Shallow Subs. I really miss my P2's

Best of luck
