Has anyone ever seen 4 12's behind the rear seat(in a box) of a 2001 - 2003 Supercrew ?

I have yet to see someone (besides me) do it either . My last install (4 10's behind the rear seat) is currently in 4th place out of 1800 cars , on (carstereo.com) . Click on INSTALL GALLERY and then POINT LEADERS . I used to compete in both IASCA & USAC sactioned events for a number of years , dating back to the early 90's . I did not install that system to do competitions , a buddy talked me into putting it on there . I have since gutted the entire truck, and in the process of putting in a competition system featuring 4 12's and three MTX thunder amplifiers(282,684,1501D). I will post pictures by March .

I guess you could call me old school , but why whenever someone mentions (Competition) these days , certain people think SPL or DB DRAG ? Have you ever heard of COSMETIC INTEGRATION , INSTALLATION CREATIVITY , SYSTEM DESIGN & LAYOUT , INSTALLATION QUALITY , SOUNDSTAGE , MAINTAINING THE INTEGRITY OF THE VEHICLE , Multimedia , etc ???? Its alot harder to maintain the integrity of my vehicle( 6 passanger)while competing in SQ events and actually sounding good , than it is to throw a big box in the back and be loud . I've seen enough DB drags to know that most systems look like they were thrown in the night before .

The box is not inside the bed . It is in the cab . Rear seats were moved 2" forward & 2" up .

Your kinda right , Coustic never was very good untill 5 years ago when Mitek corporation bought them . Mitek is the company that owns MTX , XTANT and STREETWIRES. The Coustic of today is really good stuff . All their amps are CEA 2006 compliant , just like MTX & XTANT , Because we all know that all amplifier power ratings aren't created equal . By the way , didn't you read my description on CARSTEREO.COM , where I said the system wasn't done for competitions . Had that system been installed for competitions , I would not of used COUSTIC . Although it is good equipment , I would have had to listen to the bashing by people like you who don't have a CLUE . If you would like, I will send you Photo's of my last (competition only) vehicle , and you could judge from that .

And one more thing , to my knowledge , i am the only person to get 4 12's (in a box that is inside the cab) of a 2001-2003 Supercrew , and still have the backseat . I know what all is involved in doing this , so yes i guess that does make me an elitist .
