The Best I Can Get..

Alright heres the deal I have an 07 kr f150 SCrew and im trying to get subs in it. I would like to get 2 10w7's but I think I cant fit these without a seat lift, correct me if im wrong.. So my question is what can I fit under my seats that will have the same output/quality? ..price is not an issue going for the best I can get..

Thanks

Actually, nothing. There is not a sub that will rival the output of the 10W7 that will fit under the seat. The 10W7 will not fit even with a seat lift. Unless, you raised the seat 3 or 4 inches. They are just too deep. I assume the 07 is going to have the same space as my 05 and you are looking at 10" subs with up to maybe 6" of mounting depth. And that requires some extra work. Most of the premade boxes will hold 5.5" of depth. There is just not room for any more.

Yeah, I had 2 10W7s firing forward with a seat lift. I don't think the box was big enough for 2 though (although it was built to JL's specs).

You will not fit them w/o a seat lift.

I would like to see if someone can get a couple of DIYMA 12" in w/o a seat lift. Also, look at the DLS Nobelium or Iridium...great SQ subs, expensive though. You also might be able to get a BM 10" to fit w/o a seat lift.

Alright, ya thats what I thought. I'm going to get a custom box built but they said the best they can do is build a box behind the center console..and I am trying to aviod that. What about shallow mount subs? a buddy of mine has 2 12's under his 05 fx4 and they dont sound too bad, thoughts?

Could I fit the DLS w/o a seat lift, but with a custom box? Do you think I could I fit 2 BM's?

Thanks for the input guys

I'm pretty sure both of these will fit...they both are 5.5" MD for the 10". I would go with a 10" sub before a shallow mount 12" (shallow, I mean like the 3-4 inch subs).

My bad. Forgot about forward firing the W7.

There are several premade boxes that will hold up to 5.5" depth so, a BM or DLS should work without a seat lift.

The DIYMA has a posted depth of 6". That would be cutting it really, really close. I bet with creativity, it could be done.
