Build first box, need help finishing!! ASAP
Hey all,
I just got done building my first sealed box. Looks pretty good for a first, BUT I ****ed up and drilled screw pilot holes where I didnt need them, and Im wondering if there is something I could spray all over the inside to help seal it? I have filled all holes/screws with filler, its all sanded, and I am going to paint it tomorrow...Kilz 2 Latex primer...is this going to seal alright, along with filler? I have read some people use undercoating on the inside? PLEASE HELP QUICK!

Use caulk or silicone to seal all the joints and where you have screw holes you didn't use. That will take care of sealing the box up tight. I caulk on the inside so that it doesn't have to be super pretty.
Inside dosn't matter what it looks like, can't see it... use silicone to seal all the joints and where you have screw holes you didn't use, anything to can't get to, put a latex glove on, shoot the silicone on the glove and go to town on it.. then go over all seams while you in there with the glove....work it in good on the seams.... pay close attention the the inside corners and don't forget the seal the speaker lead connector block... a lot of people forget about that....
