need sub box for my '06 supercrew

i just acquired a new supercrew and i have a 12" sub sitting in my house that i want to put in.

now my question is, will it fit under the back seat? i am having trouble finding a box online.

does anyone know where i find find a box for it? or even if a 12" will fit in there?

any help will be greatly appreciated! thank you!

It is more than likely going to be too deep to fit under the seat. I am not sure if anyone has put a 12" under the seat without a seat lift. All of us that have 12" subs have a seat lift of some kind. Unless the sub's depth is in the 6" range, it will be next to impossible.

10" will fit in any of the premade boxes available. You still need to look at subs with less than 6" mounting depth and closer to 5.5" to be safe. Arc Audio, Image Dynamics, Adire Koda and Elemental Designs are just a couple of really good subs. But, anything with that mounting depth works.

MTX makes the thunderform encloser for a 12" sub to fit under the bac seats without a seat lift.

They do indeed but, it holds their sub, not any 12" sub. Does anyone know the mounting depth of their 12" sub that fits the enclosure?

I encourage you to make your own box, takes probably around 8-10 hours, makes a great weekend project..
I made my own box that houses 2 12s and it fits in my back row, after i replaced the 60% seat with a second 40%
