vactory speakers

I have a 2004 supercrew I was wanting to replace the factory speakers and I was just wondering how many are there? what size are they? and any Idea what brand I should replace them with?

my expy has 5x7, so i think urs have them too, i got jbl for mine and they are sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet.

Check www.crutchfield.com they will list speaker sizes that will fit including depth.

There are 4 speakers, 1 in each door, and they are 5x7 / 6x8 either will fit

You can put 6.5" in there. You will have to make some adapters to make them fit the holes.

I went with Polk MOMO's MMC650 in the rear and MMC6500 in the front with a Polk 10" MOMO sub in a Q-Logic box. They are just getting broken in and already sound awesome! You'll have to make adapter plates out of MDF for the 6.5's but there's a ghetto way around that using 5x7 to 5.25 adapter plates. You'll want to get a quality amp to push almost any descent aftermarket speakers. Don't be too quick to purchase and read alot of websites. I rushed my order and a month later replaced those speakers with the MOMO's.
