Don't get me wrong, they are good subs...I even recommended someone to take a look at them.

Hopefully, Fi is smart this time...and don't sell out.

Oh yeah, a buddy of mine is looking for a nice sub and I mentioned Fi also, but it already happened to RE, plus thats pretty much how a small bussiness goes...demand can be hard to keep up with, and you cant stay underground forever.

Yep, I recommend SI...usually before anything else. Plus, I've used sub after sub after sub and really haven't found one that I like better. So why not recommend them?

I'm willing to bet that this other guy doesn't even own a Fi sub...or even heard one for that matter.

Haha, I think the less people there are with SI is a lot cooler, like they arent something you see every other install...but people ask for recommendations of a good sub...SI

you guys and your SI. I'm new here but reading a lot and ive notice SI or Mag's popping up in just about every topic even if it has nothing to do with the topic.

Ive never heard of them up until about a 2 weeks ago. Ive been a JL fan for a while and even asked *brypink2* about his W7 setup. In fact i was in the process of a W7 project and thats slowly fading away and at a fast pace too..... I hate to be a wagon jumper but you guys make it sound so good owning a MAG.
Basically what I'm saying is don't be made if i get one.

Blood,

The only reason I jumped on the Mag bandwagon is they are a great sub that fits the shallow mounting depth of our trucks (with a seat lift). My all time favorite sub is the Image Dynamics IDMAX. I still do not think there is a better sub. But, even the 10" will not fit under the rear seat. The Mag is a top quality sub, very close to the IDMAX, that just happens to have a mounting depth that is perfect for under the seat. You are not going to find many SQ subs that will handle 1,000 watts and have less than 7" of mounting depth.

Thats why I liked the L7's I think they were 6 and 3/4 or somthin around there for the mounting depth. They are only rated at 750 rms, but I had them hooked up on 5 different amps (all 1000 watts or more) for 5 years and finally blew them out. I guess when they say to break them in they last alot longer and perform better as well.

DB Drag #s mean squat. At the shop I work at..... we had a db drag over the summer and some guy came with a pair of SI Mag with an RE 12.1 amp. It was very loud. I have a pair of RF T1 12" and a T10001BD amp.

His box was 5 ft tuned to 32 hz adn mine was 4 ft tuned to 35 hz. He kept talking crap about how his was so loud and there was no way he was hitting less than 150 db. He is an avid caraudio.com member.

He burped 139.6 at 40 hz. I hit 142.4 at 41 hz. He left without saying a word. He later showed up again a month later with a new box and a pair ED 9.1 amps. He hit 140.1
