I never said it was okay to have the magnet sticking out the back

well i am working with a pair of 12" polk audio subs in 2 individual sealed boxs i am trying to put them in a 93 f150 reg cab bench seat i know it sounds impossible but i seen a few done just want a basic set up nothing big dont want to hack up my cab doing it basically the bottom of the box is too wide so the seat wont go all the way back to where i am comfortable driving since i am 6'1 i would like to fab it alittle bit since i only need about a inch give or take for the seat to go all the way back

you could also see if you could remount the seat on the seat rail. b.c it sounds like the bottom of the rail is where the clearance issue is, not the whole back of the seat, correct me if im wrong tho

i believe u are correct the bottom of the seat where the back pivits basically the part i sit on is where it is hitting the box the bottom of the box is 7.5 inchs wide and the clearence with the seat all the way back where i usally have it only leaves 7 inches
