Making Kickpanels

Good Morning All,

I've looked around the site some to try to get a feel for how hard it would be to make kickpanels for my 04 F-150. Does anyone have any pictures of any kickpanels they have made for their trucks? Also, if you have made your own kickpanels, how have you dealt with the fusebox on the passenger side of the vehicle? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

If you have the large center console with the shifter on it in your F150, I would advise against building kick panels, as they would be too low for a good SQ install. If not, it would be ok. I would say since the design is so complicated with the hood-release handle on one side, and the fuse box on the other, that it might be best to just buy some Q-form kicks, and then reinforce them with some glass and resin. I had a set of the Q-forms in my Tahoe, and did just that. They sounded just as good as any custom made kicks. The only problem is, you have to rely on Q-logic's idea of the best imaging... which might not be the best...

Good Luck!

Don
