Putting subs behind single cab seat?

Well, i just got a 94' f150 single cab truck. And i was wondering if i can put a sub (or subs) behind the seat? There isnt much room (6in's maybe?) Also, if i put a amp back there would i have to worry about it over heating?

If anyone has any amp/sub suggestions please post up, i dont know **** about car audio....

Thanks

Well, if you've got 6" back there, I'd recommend the JBL GTO1202D. It's inexpensive, is for the most part "shallow mount," handles every bit of 300 watts RMS (I'm putting 1000 watts to it), only needs 1 cubic foot of airspace, and it actually has really decent SQ (probably not stuffed behind a seat). It can be wired for 1 ohm or 4 ohms depending on your application.

You can get one for around 75-100 bucks. If you pay more than 99 bucks though, you're getting ripped off, as this is MSRP.

Hope this helps.
