need help for my subs!!

need help for my subs!!

ok i put 2 10" subs on the back of my 03' screw ok when i put the seat up it made pressure. ok now i turn my amp too loud and the vibration tore my sub like a 1 and a half inches long i was thinking on putting glue on it its that special jbl glue that they use to recone the speakers with. ok would that work. cuz i dont want it to tear more than what it is.

please explain a little more. it seems like you said that you put two subs under the seat and when you cranked the amp up it ripped one sub. right?

Im guessing you mean the surround, the foam/rubber piece that is shaped like an upside down U kind of, and holds the cone to the speaker frame?

If so, yes, you can glue it. Make sure the glue flexes, and just put a little bit over the tear, and around the edges of it. Let it dry REAL good before using the sub again. That should fix it...
