New 06 S-Crew Suggestions fog big sound but like my space too.
i am wanting to put 2 JL Audo 10's in the cab but i still want to be able to use the back seat. I have a Presesion Power 400X2 amp and a Infinity Kappa 600X2 also.
What are some ideas to keep the box out of the way or whatever. Ive notice there is not a lot of space under the back seat. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

you can put your subs behind the seat like this with a custom box. or check out www.supercrewsound.com.
also if anyone else wants to chimme in, how did this guy secure the sub box behind the seat?

hmmm. i didnt think there was much room behind the seat? i have alse seen a box that goes under the seat? has anyone heard how good these are?
thanks for the info!
My King Ranch has the factory sub under the back seat. It seems to work pretty good with the stock radio. I beleive it is only an 8" sub in there though. The point is, the aftermarket under the seat sub boxes do seem to work ok, if you are not looking to vibrate the back windows.
Adding gigantic sub-woofers with massive amps is not the only way to get a 'rocking system'.
In my opinion, people put way to much emphasis on the subs. Remember that they only produce sound from about 100hz and lower. Full spectrum sound goes from 20hz all the way up to 20,000hz and higher. Don't forget about the rest of the music.

My last truck was a '94 F-350, regular cab.
I had 6.5" three ways in the doors, 6x8 two ways in the rear cab corners, 5-1/4" and 1"tweeters component sets in the kick panels and another pair of 1" tweeters at the top of the rear pillars. I had one 8" SoloBaric sub mounted in a truck style box centered behind the seat. I ran the whole setup with a 6 channel amp. The front and rear speakers were getting 75 watts rms. The sub was getting 300 watts rms from the bridged 5th and 6th channels into 2 ohms. It sounded great. You could feel that 8" sub right through the seat with a definite thud.
You should check out the under-seat sub boxes that are available for the super crews. Maybe you can find someone that has one so you can hear it before deciding on what to buy. Don't give up your entire back seat just to gain some thump.

Without a seat lift kit, one of the premade boxes will house a good set of 10" subs. Two of my favorites are the Arc Audio and Image Dynamics IDQ. They will both fit the boxes mentioned above and they sound great.
im actually also looking to do the same thing myself right now... two jl 10w3v2 underneath my back seat and the 500/1 jl amp underneath my passenger seat...
my main idea is to go with this supercrewsound.com box for a little under 150 and stick those 10's right in there...
does anyone have this box already?
