Prefab boxes are either from A- China or B- Mexico. Usually both equally worthless. They use 1/2 wood and staples to hold together. Build one yourself or have a good stereo shop build one for you.

I actually used a prefab with the slot port but it didnt produce the sound i was looking for. so I took gorilla glue to all of the seems, then coated the inside with spray on deadoner and it sounded excelent. just a thought.

Here is one from Pro 1 Audio: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/04-06...QQcmdZViewItem It claims to be made in the U.S.A. and has .78 cubic feet per side of air space. It has 6 in depth at center for my JL Audio subs. I e-mailed them about a change in carpet color. Cheer, Blue

Here's another one if you are going to go the eBay route. They specify 3/4" mdf, 1.8 QFt and 6 1/2" mounting depth. Good luck.

I'd be wary of that box too. Just from the pictures it looks like it is poorly made. The wood looks low quality and the terminal cup is a p.o.s. I've always been a fan of making my own boxes because I don't want to end up fixing someone else's mess.
