06 F150 sub harness

I have recently purchased the factory subwoofer box for my 06 Lariat. I found the harness connection under my rear seat (passenger side) and connected it but the sub will not work. I was wondering if other connections need to be made and if so where are they located. Any help would be very much appreciated. thanks!

The other end of the cable plugs into the Audiophile 6-CD Head Unit.

The other end of the harness is located behind the Head Unit.

The plug will only fit in one hole, on the back of the Head Unit.

If your Head Unit is NOT Audiophile ready, the hole won't be there.

Also a few trucks had an incomplete harness, so make sure you have the front haft....

Thanks Guys! I Did Put A Meter On The Harness End At The Sub And One Pin Had 12v On It So I'm Assuming It Is Coming Directly From The Fuse Block. Can Anyone Tell Me The Best Way To Access The Rear Of The Head Unit. Thanks Again!!!!!!!!

You have to pull the trim off around the unit, and unbolt it from the dash.

Did you purchase the Ford Audiophile Head Unit to go with the subwoofer?

If your truck came without the subwoofer, I doubt the Head Unit is Audiophile ready.

Unhappy

No. I Did'nt Purchase The Ford Audiophile Unit Seperately And My Truck Did'nt Come With A Subwoofer, But I Don't Understand Why Ford Would Install The Harness And Install The 25 Amp Fuse In The Fuse Block To Hot The 12 V Power To The Sub If It Was Most Likely To Never Be Used By The Consumer. Thanks For Your Help! C-ya.

I Purchased The Factory Sub With The Assumption That I Did'nt Have The Wiring Harness At All And Was Going To Have It Wired In By My Local Stereo Shop Like My Friend Did, (he Had His Hard Wired In And It Sounds Awesome For A Factory Sub, Even The Guys At The Stereo Shop Could'nt Believe How Good It Sounded). It Was When I Found The Harness End In My Truck That I Started This Search. Thanks To All!!
