Speaker suggestion

On a budget and I have my amp and sub already. Should I go with new 5x7s all the way around in my '06 Screw or leave the backs alone and go with components in the front and leave the back alone?

Honestly I would go with a good set of round components. I had the 6x8 Infinity components and they do not even compare to the MMC6500's made by Polk. They retail for about 300 bucks but I and many others here bought from millionbuy.com for 169. They sound awesome. How much wattage do you have to spare for the components? I would just put speakers up front and leave the rears alone

I have an Alpine V12 5 Channel amp. I believe it is a 500watt.

So you could send one channel to each component and the others to the sub(s). Definitely put your money towards a good set of components and later on down the road if you desire so you can put some rear speakers in.
