Sub box suggestion?
Sub box suggestion?
I just purchased a 2005 Ford F150 FX4 Extended Cab with a black leather interior and a black carpet around the truck (https://www.f150online.com/galleries...cfm?gnum=2777). Previously I had a 2000 F150 Extended cab, so I already have two nice 10" subs (Audiobahn 800W) and I had an under the seat box. Everything worked very well however my amp was so large I had to keep the small back seat flipped up for the amp to fit (had to put the amp on top of the box, it couldn't fit in front). Mounting depth is not an issue as these subs don't need a lot of room.
I would like a find a box that would match my truck (so a black carpet option), and somehow find a spot to mount my amp to where I have both back seats open (at least behind the driver and passenger seat, if I lost the middle area I wouldn't care.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I saw a nice box at supercrewsound that would work for me, however I would have the same amp mounting issue with that box. Thanks in advance,
Jason

the supercrewsound boxes are nice, but the amp can be an issue. i've seen guys on here that mount the amp along the back of the cab behind the seats. or look at a q-logic box and just do one 10 and have plenty of room to put an amp under the center seat.
Seat mounting
I guess the seat mounting option is an idea, however I don't like the idea of messing up such nice leather seats with that. It would be nice if I could mount it under the passenger seat, and just run wires under a floormat, but cooling might be an issue down there as well.
