MTX Thunderform

Does anybody on here single cab use this loaded version? It is 2 10's in the molded box with a 200 watt class d amp. If anyone can tell me how good is a 200 watt class d? I am use to like 800 watts with my rockford amp and I'm just curious to what a 200 class d sounds like. I have like 1 day to decide if I want this system. Any info will help.

Thanks,

Well when I was looking for a sub box I looked at that one and decided I didnt it want it because it is made of that plastic junk and i didnt know how sturdy it would be and how it would sound. So i searched on ebay for a "dual sub truck" box and found this one. I added Polk subs and have a RF T5002 amp powering it. Fits nicely back there... I tried to find some on ebay for you but couldnt find one like mine and im not sure who makes it. Thought it was subzero but i dunno. Thats my 2 cents

dont buy the thunderform, its not worth your money in either sound quality or output.

build your own box or buy one from probox.

the supercrewsound regular box sucks. they falsely advertise a .44 cubic inch per chamber box as .65 cubic inches. *** holes

dont buy em from ebay either

I have the Thunderform that is powered with the internal amp. Mine is under my backseat. I have a 04 Supercab. I think its sounds awesome. It is very powerful. I only have 1 10 though. That amp may not be strong enough for 2 10's.

1) find your total usable space

2) fint a woofer that fits within the confines of a) airspace b) mounting depth

3) build a box suiting the woofer. decide sealed/ported based on airspace available and the skills of your builder
