Front door panels where speakers are located just pop off. Use a small screwdriver if you need to pry it off. Just used my fingers the last time.
Mount the subs behind the rear seat.
I've got the same subs you have & a box for under the rear seat.
thanks youve been alot of help. shouldnt be too hard to wire everything to the stock head unit....since im not replacing it.....is there enough room for the amps behind the rear seats??
I would do it yourself with the help of your brother. Its actually a lot of fun and really pretty easy to do. Im in the middle of my own install. Im figureing out the best way to wire up my subs right now ( see my post here ). I have a box for under the back seat for the 2 10" subs, all new Alpine Type R's for the doors, amps for everything and my new Alpine head unit which is already installed, along with Sirius and my reverse camera. If you need any help I will do my best, but we have some real great guys here who know their stuff and will be able to walk you thru any problem or obsticle you run into.
Good Luck

the only problem i think ill have is with my amps.....i have seen people put them behind the rear seat but i have a supercrew most the guys i saw had supercabs and also im a bit hesitant to take out the rear seat to get behind it and not even sure if there enough room for both my amps.....
just for a idea.....what you think it would run to have a place install it for me since i have everything already?

Id give it a shot and try it yourself. Then you know exactley how its done and what not, plus it feels good to do it yorself
. I think shops charge WAY to much to install stereos anyway.
I know Brypink has pics in his gallery of the amps on the back wall of his Screw, might want to check that out to get an idea of how its done. He has more, and physically bigger, amps than you do, so you should not have a problem with fitment.

they are going to charge you at least 150, if not 200. If you are using your stock headunit are you using a rca line output converter or are you doing the speaker input on the amp, first remove the grille in the front door by getting a flat screwdriver and popping it out from the bottom first, then remove 4 screws and disconnect the speaker, then get the new speaker and mount it to the bracket and then wire it, before you put the 4 screws back on test it and thenn put the grille back on. Next disconnect your negative wire on the battery and then try to start it, it wont start but it releases all the energy that the cables had in it, then run your wires on oposote sides and then connect all wires going to the amp( Speaker wires, ground, remote turn on,and power) then wire the subs and try them out before screwing them onto the box, and lastly put the box in place and hide all wires.
where are you going to put the turn on wire to? Make sure that you do it to the 12 volt accesory and not the 12volt constant, that one stay on all the time. If you have any questions just email me at polo2005@sbcglobal.net
email by tonight and i will send you some sheets with pictures on how to do alot of this things
Sorry I know its long, but the man needs help

(joke)
ANYWAY, what kind of subs are those?
I like pics with the whole stereo setup in them too

If you have no knowledge of installing or have never, ever installed before, I would say your install would be around an 8. If you have some basic skills, maybe a 2 or 3. If you are worried about messing something up, find a good shop to handle it for you. Just be prepared that it will cost for a good quality job.
There are enough of us on this board that have been installing for a long time and we can help talk you thru it.
thanks
my bro is very handy....hes never done anything like this install....but he reads up and is in the process of installing his subs and hes doing pretty well.
thought his install is alot simpler than mine.
im going to get a few price quotes

You guys are so funny........lol That's actually my sons room with all the equipment on the bed. Funny thing is, is that he just did turn 4 on June 13th so good job on guessing the age. Prices are close but not quite. Just ordered my Punch 150 this morning. Here's the low down on everything & I'll include the price of shipping on it.
Alpine 9856- $199.99 Crutchfield
JBL P8652 6x8's $149.99 Crutchfield
JL Audio XR570 CSi 6x8's $232.99 12Volt Kings (Ebay)
25 ta Life Series RF Punch 75 $248.88 Cardomain (with 2 year ext. warranty)

2 Elemental Designs 11Kv.2 subwoofers $147.19 (group buy with 3 year warranty)
MusicMoose box $139.64 MusicMoose web site.
1 JL Audio 2 guage 2 amp kit $94.99 Ebay (Dynamic Auto Sound)
Total Price of everything including shipping & extra warranties $1532.60
Not too shabby if ya ask me for some pretty decent equip. I've still my old Phoenix Gold RCA cables that were like $100 a pair from a previous install a couple of years ago so I'm not really counting that. Went to one audio shop when I first started this & they quoted me like $2000 for some junk equipment including installation. I wanted to laugh but I held it in. I've still got to get some sound deading material but I'm still researching on what to get so you can include that in the price also. I figured I could do alot better than 2 g's what they wanted & looks like I'll have around $1700 with everything. Sure beats the heck out of probably the $7000 I spent on my lowrider back in the days. That was 8 15's, MB Quart, PPI (when they were the shiznit) etc..etc...
