It appears I’m going to hang onto my ’99 SCAB for another year or so and the stock speakers are really starting to wear me out. I’m hoping some Pioneers 6x8’s (not terribly expensive) will help clean its sound up. I’ve been through numerous threads that state my stock speakers are 5x7’s and 6x8’s. When I check sites such as Crutchfield though, it would SEEM that I could get four of the same speaker model, not two different speaker sizes. On Crutchfield they seem to indicate the Pioneer TS-A6880R would fit both front and back in my ’99. Can anyone confirm?

Also, would anyone happen to have a ’99 Super Cab install guide they could forward?

yes you can get 4 of the same speakers they should come with a bracket that will fit. as for the install guide, if you buy them crutchfield it will come with the guide.

 

Thanks for the reply! I was actually thinking of getting the speakers on Ebay since they appear to be significantly less pricey there. I used the Crutchfield site to double-check sizing using their size wizard thing.

On Ebay the speakers are listed as a specific size for Fords. Any idea whether they would include the bracket you mentioned?
