Sub question

Anyone know of a sub that will match up good with a Kicker 600.1 mono amp and fit in a 2005 F150 SCAB. Either 2 ohm or 4 ohm? Sealed or ported?

L5

Yeah thats what I was looking at. Anybody got a sub box drawing or plans that will fit an L5 10" in a 2005 F150 SCAB. Kicker says as little as .66 ft3 or up to 1.00 ft3.

I'm not sure how much different the rear seating is but here's some pics of mine with a custom sealed box with an L5. The box was made to sit on top of the seat while folded down. Hopefully this helps you..

I just picked up a Phoenix Gold RsD10d. I'm not sure the specs of that amp, but this sub will take 350rms and with the magnet cover removed it's only 4 7/8" deep and is able to fit under the rear seat and stay hidden.

The box I currently have is down firing, and only pushes the sub about .25" off the ground so I threw a 2" deep grill which is bit of overkill. I think 1.5" would fit just about perfect and keep the box high enough off the ground as to not mess with the sub's excursion.
