Focal's won't scream at you but that is the reason IMO to throw out the Kappa's. The point of the Focal Speaker set would be the PolyGlass Technology Textile base cone and the idea they are not bright and reproduce the Audio Source as was intended. They will light your fire if your into more then just pasting the hair back. And yes they will throw out volume just be sure the rest of your system is up to snuff with a lot of good CLEAN power. My hope is that you are not just changing out speakers due to other issues with the set up and trying in vain to let the speakers be the band-aid. Go get em Tiger
Peace!

Focals

I have 6.5 Focal slim lines in my Subaru Forrester and 6x8s MBQ Premiums in my Supercrew, with a PPI 5 Channel Amp and JL 10 Sub, Eclipse 550AVN, the suby has all Alpine head unit and 4 and 2 channel amp. The sound coming out of the Focals is excellent. The MBQs are good as well, but I will change the Fords to Focal's eventually. I've been a MBQ fan for years, but after having the Focals, I'll be going with them in the future.
