I should be recieving my factory sub for my '05 FX4 screw tomorrow. I just wanted to know where would I find the factory wiring harness, and will I have to remove the seats to find it? Detailed info would be appreciated. (I already have the sub harness connected to the head unit, so I'm talking about the rear one for the sub)

It will be under the carpet under the drivers side rear seat, towards the back wall area. There also is an area in the "C" pillar where it might be too. The wiring comes from the front along the drivers side door sill areas and has a lot of connections in the C pillar area.

 

Will it be nessasary to remove the seat to get to it? Or need I just to reach under the seat and feel around??

 

I think you might be able to reach around through the seat. On my truck there was a slice under the seat where the wires came through.
