Hey man...I'm in the middle of building this box for the MAGS. I need the overall diameter of the sub...can you get it for me? Thanks!

Hey, sorry it took me so long to reply, I was gone yesterday.

Anyway, mine is 12.5 inches in diameter, and the diameter of the mounting hole needs to be 11 inches, or a tad more.

Good luck with the build.

Thanks, I was able to get it yesterday though.

I do need another favor though. If you don't mind (and if you still have that Atlas in your box). Check and see what the magnet diameter is. It might not help since yours is the older version...the newer version has a smaller magnet (I think).

I'll explain later. LOL I'll try to get some pics up tonight.

Magnet is right around 8.25 inches in diameter.

I think the new version does have a smaller magnet like you said, but Im not 100 percent sure.

Cant wait to see some pics.

Thanks. That measurement will work. I got to cut the top of the box to allow for extra mounting depth. It's the ONLY way this box will work. LOL

I'm still not sure it will. Box building is alot of trial and error. And it seems I have more error than trial. Dang...have I said I hate box building?

If these subs don't work...I will need to find 2 12" subs that have a cut out of 11 1/8", a mounting depth of less than 7" and only need 2 1/2" of clearance. Know any off the top of your head?

Haha, that would suck if it didnt work. But hey, then you could sell me those 2 Mags for half price.

Pyle makes some 12's that fit your criteria. I dont know, but I think they compete with the Mags

What about JL 12w3v2's? However, they could not handle all the power you want to push.
