Are Kicker S8L5 OK?

I've looked around and found a pretty good deal on a pair of the solobarics, but just checking to see if they're some of the best available at 8". Also, if I do get these subs, what box and amp should I get? I have a 2004 Screw.

Kicker is probably one of the best subs on the market at the moment(personal opinion of course) currently there are no manufactured boxes for our trucks so if you're not very handy you'll have to have one made, space shouldn't be a problem, these speakers are only 4-3/4" mounting depth so they should fit right under your rear seat, they only need .33-.75cu. ft. airspace for a sealed enclosure and .65-1.0 in a ported enclosure. a decent amp running 300-600 watts should work just fine for you.

Not...in mine but beauty is in the ear of the person who's wallet is open. I have always thought of them as a big box store brand.
