First off if you are not sending 200 - 300 RMS (not peak, but rms continuous power) to them, why did you even get them? Serious though, do you have a dedicated amp for them?

If you are powering them up with an amp try running them out of phase. What I mean is take the positive speaker wire off the amp and put it on the negative terminal of the amp, then take the negative speaker wire and put it to the positive terminal on the amp. If you have any questions regarding this post them, it is as easy as it sounds but ask if needed. If you are running them straight off the radio, go buy an amp. I think thats what Rkymntfordfan was getting at.
Playing the subs out of phase does not hurt the equipment sub/amp etc. it simply plays the sound reversed which may actually couple to the sound from the fronts and sound better. Even if it sounded good its always an easy thing to try to see if it would sound better.

I don't think he's running his subs straight off his stock HU without an amp. I think he's just using a LOC which shouldnt be the cause of his delay problem.
