Hey guys I just bought some Kicker KS68 for all four doors. I dont have an amp yet and dont really know if i will need one. Any suggestions? I like to crank the radio up but those factory speakers just arent cutting it. Anyway ill let you guys know what i think of them after the install.

 

well I installed the speakers and was not very pleased. I think they need an amp. after listening to them i probably should of kept the factory setup. Anyway i plan on adding some 10" subs under the back seat. I talked to the local car audio shop and they recommended Memphis speakers because they only need .5 ft of cubic air space. He also said anything else woul sound like crap. But he is the sales guy.

 

well i went with the 10" Memphis m class subs with an older fosgate 500A2 amp. I am very pleased with set up. It sound great even when i have the volume turned down. when it is turned up they hit pretty hard inside the truck. I have a box that goes under the back seat . i was pretty worried that it would not sound good cause i got for 60 bucks, but i was pretty impressed.
