Speakers Shorting out?

Alright, i noticed this a couple of days ago. My speakers are either shorting out or there is a short in the wire. when im driving my speakers on the drivers side will go out and no sound will come from them. They will start workin for like 15 seconds and then go back out again. What's the problem ?and how can i fix it?

Stock speakers? First thing, I would check the speaker connections at the speaker and make sure they are not loose.
