well i have been havinga hard time deciding what i want to do.. I have a kicker KX 600.1 amp. i really liek this amp cause it has teh bass control remote. my delema is that I cant seem to find a dual 4 ohm speaker that will handle up to 600 watts that has a mounting depth of 5.25 or less.

my other option is to get a single 4 ohm and limit my amp to only 300 watts.

what do you guys think

 

I think you are going to have a difficult time finding a 600W sub with a mounting depth of 5.25

Why are you so limited on depth?

The only ones I really know of are some newer Rockford Fosgates that are the shallow mount kind. I haven't researched them lately, but a friend of mine is waiting on one to arrive to a local car audio shop.

 

i had a box built by supercrew sound.. honestly.. they did a good job, but like you said.. im limited to my space. if i didnt take a lazy spell i prob could have built one to go under the back seat of my screw and have at least another 3/4 of an inch.. o well.. hind sites 20/20
