What amp to power my IDQ10?

Hey guys, I just purchased an IDQ10 for my truck off Ebay for $85 new. Thanks to brypink2 for the link! Check it out here:

It is rated for 350 watts RMS. What do you guys reccomend to power this sub? I will be running it in a sealed box. I have a regular cab so which way should I have it fire? I was thinking of using this amp:

What are your suggestions? Thanks for your help guys.

How many ohms is it? Basically, just find a mono-amp that will run 350w at how ever many ohms your sub is and I'd have it firing either towards you or towards you at an angle towards the cieling.

Maybe this amp? http://www.techronics.com/index.cfm?...roduct_ID=3637

I wish I could use it. .

Just so you know, that is not an Image Dynamics IDQ sub. The IDQ is much different. According to posts on other forums, ID might have made the sub for someone else but, no one seems to know for sure what the sub is.

If the ratings are correct, try to find an amp that will put out at least 350 watts into whatever load you are running. The amp you have listed should work just fine.

The latest rumor is now that these subs were possibly made for Elemental Designs.

I am not sure what part of it is similar to the IDQ. I have an IDQ10 and it looks nothing like it and the specs are quite different. Maybe it is suppose to sound like it? From a looks standpoint, it looks more like the ID Ver3. But, it most resembles the Elemental K series and some say the O series.

Ya its definately way too similar to kv2s and ov2s, i mean just look at any of them and place a black dustcap on it. Its propablly something were ID was in with ED and made a wrong batch, or preproduction test stuff, but really its not likely that anyone will find out.

Where the old ED flat cones made by ID?

EDIT: BTW, I never said these were IDQ clones...merely stated I would buy one for $85!

Some of the older ED subs used TC for a buildhouse, like a lot of internet companies. Actually i think the Ov2s are still TC2+ motors.

Well the sub came in today in an Image Dynamics box from Image Dynamics. So I am a little confused. These were made by ID but they are not described as IDQs. There is no part number on the packing slip?

They are not IDQ. Image might have made the sub for another company but, for sure, not an IDQ. Still a good looking sub though.
