Need Help!

Ok... i own a 2005 f150 fx4 screw, and i want too add some more bass. I have installed an avic-d1 with sirius. I know i can spend a decent amount of money and get a box that will go under the rear seat, but that is a bit more than i need. I think i can add a base tube (bazooka tube) under the rear seat to give me that extra oomph. Is this possible, if not what will i need to do to add some more bass?

I bought a Kenwood KSC_SW1. It lays flat on the floor under the seat and does the trick. Very easy install. Take your hot wire down the passenger side and tie in power at the fuse box. Ground went to seat frame bolt. Then a rca jack to the Alpine head unit and wallah,,done.

Its not going to thump you into next week, but it fills out the total sound package very well.

I upgraded the HU in my 05 XL, regular cab to an Audiophile. Part of my upgrade included four new door speakers and a Bazooka powered sub. I didn't want to eat up all the room behind my seats so I went with the 100w, 6". It is the perfect compliment for my system and my ears. In a SCAB or SCREW, I would go with the 200w, 8".

any input on what type of stuff to buy. Im kind of new at the whole thing, but i would be buying off ebay most likely. My reason for staying away from a sub and amp is finding a suitable box and sub and amp would cost well over $175

I small amp and 1 8 inch sub will over power those tubes like no tomorrow. Get a small amp(75-100 bucks) an 8 inch sub(50-100) and an amp wiring kit and build your own box for about 20 bucks. You could do it all for under 300. I had an Image Dynamic 8 inch sub in my truck and it sounded great. Plenty of bass. It can get loud but also is known for great sound quality. It's sittin in my closest. If you are interested shoot me an email. You can build a box for an 8 in about an hour or two after you get the supplies.
