How to identify speaker + and - wires?

The OEM speakers I bought from e-bay came with different connectors on the speakers and different mating connectors. The new ones have + and - labeled on the wires. But the old ones don't. Is there an easy way to tell which is + and which is -? Thanks.

A good trick to know about this is to use a 9V battery and touch the speaker leads if the + and - are correct then the speaker will move out if it is backwards the speaker will move in. Hope this helps.

Not the speaker, he (and I) want to know which of the wires going to the speaker are what.
